Important issues facing Japan that we are tackling
Earthquake reconstruction
The Tohoku region was hit hard by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in 2011, and construction work is still ongoing to rebuild the area, including infrastructure development and construction. Our company is also contributing to the recovery from the earthquake by carrying out reconstruction work in the Hamadori area of Fukushima Prefecture.
Energy issues
Japan has a low energy self-sufficiency rate, and securing energy is an important issue for the country's development. From the perspective of securing energy, our company will contribute by building renewable energy sources such as solar power plants.
Defense
In recent years, the international situation has become increasingly severe worldwide, and there is a growing need to improve defense capabilities. Our company contributes to Japan's defense by carrying out construction work related to defense bases such as U.S. military bases in Japan.

Japan is a country prone to floods due to its geographical conditions, so disaster prevention (flood control) is an important issue for the country. Our company contributes to disaster prevention (flood control) in Japan by carrying out efficient pipe construction work.
Food issues
It is known that Japan's food self-sufficiency rate is the lowest among major developed countries. In order to increase Japan's food self-sufficiency rate, our company will contribute by building land-based aquaculture and plant factories.
Logistics issues
Japan is facing a serious labor shortage in the logistics industry due to a declining population. Our company contributes to resolving this issue by constructing high-performance warehouses and refrigerated warehouses.
